A long time ago, in a village far, far away one afternoon young Marc found himself at a church hall screening of Star Wars. Back home he promised his mother to be a good boy forever and to one day blow things up for a living. Years later, after he had completed his studies at Germany's renowned Filmakademie the prophecy had finally come true and he lives happily ever since as a commercial film director.
Early on Marc has established himself as an enthusiastic storyteller working as a writer, director and editor for agencies and production companies alike. Wholeheartedly he takes great pleasure in finding narrative solutions for his clients who have trusted him again and again with their campaigns over the past years.
After some internationally recognized shortfilms which earned him the first german seat ever at the Cinéfondation du Festival de Cannes in Paris, followed by project studies at both Quentin Tarantino's and Wolfgang Petersen's production companies in Los Angeles and a Saatchi&Saatchi Hottest New Directors credit in Cannes his more recent work helped winning two silver Euro-Effies for KIA in 2015 and 2016 and best screenplay and direction at the Corporate Media Master Awards in 2016.
Marc lives with his family near Hamburg and loves to travel the galaxy by x-wing or motorbike.
