Elif was born in 1988 in Ankara. After graduating from Graphics Design in Ankara, she moved to Istanbul to improve her photography and was accepted to Bahcesehir University Photography and Video full scholarship. From then on, her photography and video work has been shown on events and exhibitions. The short form film she shot in Berlin was accepted as best pick by some of the important festivals.
She has worked in different roles in productions such as art director, editor, camera operator. The experience she gained through the earlier days has help her work more closely with her team and understand their workflows much better. She believes in keeping the “natural look” in her work, which is also why she also points out to bits and details that make her work real.
